A little bit about us

As one of northeast Ohio�s largest heating and cooling contractors, Ron the Furnace Man is well-known throughout the area.
We have 24 hour 7 days a week phone operations, It is our goal to be at a home within two to three hours of a call; our large fleet of service trucks helps us meet that goal. Any customer calling us will be answered only by employees of Ron the Furnace Man; we have no answering service. In fact, after eight at night, the phone transfers directly to Ron. Not many companies can say that.

The Beginning

The company�s start-up happened over a $3.00 receipt. After coming back from a service call and getting yelled at by his boss for not turning in a $3.00 receipt, Ron Ertle quit and decided to go out on his own. His plan was to play pool four days a week and work on furnaces the other three.
However, his services were in such demand that the company grew quickly. Within just a couple of years, he was 24/7 and didn�t have much time to play pool.
It�s with a great sense of pride in Stark County that Ertle makes known his employees all live within the county.
Most of them have been trained in the heating and cooling field by Ron himself. �The job market in Stark County has been pretty bleak over the last few years. There are many talented people looking for work,� said Ron. �We have taken many of these men into our service team and re-trained them in our field.�
